Re: Location of rear end on springs.

27-1/2 center to center or easier to measure from center of spring eye to o.d. of housing tube - see attachment. I have an 8.5 10-bolt axle with Posies springs.

you can swap the springs end to end, this changes location of the locator bolt which you may have to do. Measure from each eye to the locator and you'll see this.
