Pull all that crap out, it holds water and moisture if you have leaks. It will last way longer clean and dry. I am going on 14 years with the same. Just used SPI Epoxy to seal it up till she goes in for a redo.

Already done. I think I'll take care of the leak, just treat it, and patch it up with some old license plates. There was quite a bit of leaves packed in the cowl and vent so that may solve it.
