Grille assembly
I'm trying to assemble my inner and outer grille for my 69. It's been a while and I guess I should have taken pictures. I will post a picture of what I thought was a grille assembly kit that I bought a while back, hopefully someone can tell me if this is suppose to work.

Re: Grille assembly
Grumpy, On the first page is the screw and clip, here is a picture of my 69 grille, round holes (I have 3 grilles all alike) also a shot to inner grille with square holes. Were all the originals made with round holes and repo's made with square holes?

Re: Grille assembly
In this instance I do believe they intended for a square clip to fit in a round hole . I gave a grille the same as yours to my neighbor he has it on his garage wall , I'll get some pictures of it tomorrow . I'm pretty sure your going to have to take the corners off your square clips to fit tightly into the round holes of the grille and then tighten the screws to expand the clips .

Re: Grille assembly
Why not just turn the round holes into rectangular holes
