Not understanding the comment about angle being worthless, it definitely would add strength by having a vertical leg unless you've got a clearance issue. I believe that flange is meant to rest on the top of your frame and since you are not doing it that way, you will want to have something that reproduces the bearing strength you need and ties back to your frame via the bolts..

There was no strap kit available for this tank. Looks like I’ll be calling tanks inc.

Just got off the phone with Georgia from tanks inc. Here is what she said almost word for word.

The tank was designed to be installed to the bottom side of the frame. There are no straps or additional support required as the flange was designed to hold the weight of the tank, fuel, and components installed. You can install it in between the frame rails or even on top but it was designed to be hung from the bottom side of the frame rail with 2 bolts on each side.

She said to use 3/8 or larger to secure the tank

That's good enough then. They built the tank flange to support the components. Basically it's overbuilt vs an OE tank.

What tank p/n BTW?

This is the same tank that is mfr for the HOLLEY EFI / FiTech systems. Heres the links to everything. MFR and Summit. Got offered to apply to work for summit...Should i take it?

Thanks for the links. I'll look the parts up for all the details.

As for the job offer, it would depend on the offer if it was me. I've been in the Arlington store. It's a mix of knowledgeable & former O'Reillys/Autozone help.

What would you be doing for them?

Sales. Inbound from home.
We do pressure washing and landscaping. Miller Svcs, LLC. Went full blown LLC in the beginning of 2020. We do a few other things but nothing crazy. For the most part, like 70%, Im at home anyways. Most of our stuff is done at night and my yard crew runs during reg. hours.
We do ok with the contracts I have, but I decided I wasnt going to take a wage from the business and just reinvest. I get 90% disability from the military and TBH, thats really all i need. When i was laid off in 2014 and in 2016, I rearranged my budget. Have been good ever since. Only real downside to the whole thing was the contributions to my IRA.

If it works within your schedule.... Money is money. I'm guessing they require x-hours being logged in as a minimum?
