To follow-up, I did finally install the dash bezel that I had re-chromed and the wood face overlayed with new material. The color of the wood isn't as light as the OEM 1977 color, but I can live with it. The truck is a 77 C10 short/stepside Big 10, 454/400. Original orange paint, it has some patina for sure. I hope to drive it to Hot August Nights in Reno this year.

If I’m being honest, I think your bezel looks better than the factory units. The grain and color is better in my opinion. Great work!
