Kick panel vents with a/c ?

I converted a non A/C cab to an A/C one. Purchased a factory system from someone. What happens to the kick panel vents on an A/C truck ? Do they get sealed ? I noticed there is a vacuum actuator under the unit near the kick panel vent

My 67 still has the pull handle on the driver side and vent operates just as a non ac truck.

So no handle on pass. Side ? That's attached to actuator ?

The right kick panel vent is activated to use as a vent when the ac control is set on recirc. Vac is used to open the vent when the air cond has all 3 levers set to the very left side of the control, vac also closes the cowl inlet it the same time

Re: Kick panel vents with a/c ?

I converted my turck to AC. I just removed my handles and sealed the doors shut. I have been workin on an idea to use the right side vent as a fresh air duck for heating in the cold so the windows wont fog up when using floor heat.

My 70 driver side is a manual vent, passenger side is controlled by A/C vacuum pot.

Can you run the AC while you have the heat on, this would eliminate the fog/condensation inside the cab? That’s what I do in all my vehicles (none c10 vehicles)

My A/C is always in 'recirculate mode'.
