Can PTFE lined braided hose be acceptable for making these hydroboost / power steeering lines?? Looks like the operating pressure of the PTFE is 2000 psi and burst pressure is 6000 psi. Would be nice to build my own lines

Thoughts ?

I'd certainly give it a whirl, use quality line and fittings and I'm sure you'll have years of trouble free service. I used it for my fuel system and it's very nice to work with compared to the other braided lines.
