Never heard of Roadside Rescue, but I'd expect a legit organization to be knowledgeable about different serial numbers and the length thereof. Then again, it took a few tries with our insurance company to get the mileage per year request straightened out. Our '70 Truck is missing an odometer digit, compared to newer vehicles. Driving it less than 1k miles per year didn't help them at all, either.
