Fake News? I haven’t read of any other place on these trucks you’ll find a vin except the SPID, the door jamb, the frame, and maybe just maybe a build sheet stuffed in the seat?

New cars are stamped on damn near every panel. I took my ‘68 apart down to every last nut & bolt, and the only location was the door jamb and 2x on the drivers frame rail. SPID had been removed and there was no seat.

Not "fake news", and I don't appreciate that accusation.
