An ultrasonic cleaner at 150-170 degrees with 3/4 water, 1/4 Simple Green will clean the surfaces, even nooks and crannies. You'll still have to use carb cleaner and a brush on some parts, and probably carb cleaner and compressed air to make sure all the air and fuel passages aren't blocked. Wouldn't hurt to spray some de-greaser on the carb parts and let them sit a while before dropping them in the ultrasonic cleaner. Any kind of acid? No way for this guy.
This is a long one made for rifle cleaning that I borrowed from a guy.
