Not to change the subject too much, but why are your front rally wheels (I assume 15x8), pushed out so much further than my '69 with drum brakes? Do you have aftermarket spindles and disks? I've heard the CPP push out quite a bit.
It appears that your front wheels are close to flush with the fender... that's probably an inch out further than mine if I had to guess.

Luke I do have CPP drop spindles and front discs. They do push out some I have heard 1/2" each side but I have not measured them. My fronts are inside aprox. 1" at the side walls. they are pretty wide tires 255/70/15's.
