If you make the wheelbase 2" longer and keep the bedside at 75" the proportions will look Goofy.IMO

If you want to creat a Blazer, you will need to have the measurements very close to original. If you're off +/- 1/2", it just wont look right. Try mocking it up in CAD or even Paint to try and get the right look. I've done this a couple times on Paint to predict the outcome.
Here's one I did a while back turning a 4 door to 2 door. Took forever to get the right look before I made my first cut. My 2 cents.
