replacing rearend

I have a 1969 with HO52 rearend, due to how hard it is to find parts, what is a good replacement. I have coil springs.

Re: replacing rearend

If you can live without an E-brake a dimple disk conversion is pretty cheap. Eldorado calipers have a not so good ebrake as well. I happen to have a sett I don't need. I'd also change the gear oil.
There might be a way to convert to 14 bolt brakes as well.
If you want to get into redoing mounts a 14 bolt is probably the cheapest option.

Installing 14 bolt brakes is easy as pie. However that's not what he asked.

I offered a 14 bolt as a replacement. What did you offer Mr. Snarky?

I'm also in the middle of a rear axle swap (getting rid of a Dana 70 dually that needs a new spindle)and after factoring in prices/ parts availability/ durability ...I ended up with a 14 bolt full foat out of a 1993 GMC suburban with the slip on brake drums (you don't have to remove the hub to replace or repair the shoes/drum AND I should be able to continue using my existing proportioning valve) I will have to get the perches(mine are leaf springs) replaced/moved (springs and shocks). Over all I feel that it will benefit me greatly as parts are cheap and plentiful.

And it will/should have a working parking brake.
