1960 chevy truck wiper motor mounting grommets
Can anybody help me locate the wiper motor mounting grommets for my 60 chevy? I've searched the web and all I see are the 62-84 years. Although my rubber pieces are rotted, they don't look nothing like the 62-84 years. The barrel located in the middle of the bolt is actually threaded. Any solutions out there that will work for my application? Thank you in advance.

Re: 1960 chevy truck wiper motor mounting grommets
Hopefully someone comes along with a source to a genuine replacement part. In the event that someone doesn't, I have a potentially novel solution for you... Though I can't remember the project, I had a similar need and found Subaru Valve Cover grommets to be a useful solution. They have a metal face that makes a good washer and then a rubber backing similar to the grommet you showed for the original.
Here is an example: https://www.subaruparts.com/oem-part...NyoTpAZN9bX4Tg

I bought mine from Bill's Truck Shop in Ontario, Canada.
Part number 6-405-MK, page 32 of their Catalog.

Re: 1960 chevy truck wiper motor mounting grommets
Shipping from out east to out west was usually a week within Canada.
I've ordered tons from the States into Canada, and it takes about a week or two. UPS has bizarre added shipping/handling/brokerage fees that can make things more expensive than you'd expect. Something small like the bushings should fall below a brokerage fee minimum. I hope.

Oh!
I remembered what it is that you want - it's called a Well Nut. I'm sure you can source some locally or State-side, now that you have the name.
