Dumb question. 79 c10 blower motor screws stripped out. Can i just dab some epoxy in the holes drill out and go? Should i remover the motor? Should i use fiber glass resin?

Re: Blower motor screws stripped out.

Depending on how much stripping happened, might be as simple as going one size larger on the screws.

Re: Blower motor screws stripped out.

I agree with dead parrot.
I definitely would first off try going to the next size screw. I believe I have had to do that on one of my trucks.

Re: Blower motor screws stripped out.

Is it a plastic AC box or steel heat only box? Heat only is typically sheetmetal and could be welded shut, redrilled and be good as new. The plastic AC box, I would probably just try to use the next size up.
