Wondering if this is an original 72 front Dana 44? The steering stabilizer looks correct, but not sure. Also, are the lockouts complete? Thanks!

Looks about right. That Dana 44 was used from model year 1971 thru the Squarebody era.
It's like the one on my '71 GMC Jimmy K/1500.

take the cover off, there is a date stamped on the ring gear. There are also numbers stamped on the long axle tube, if you can still read them, these will help narrow down the build date/configuration.

The stabilizer is correct as far as I can tell. Lock outs look to be all there. I believe that to be a 71-72 axle. The BOM number on the front/bottom of the axle tube is the best way to tell exactly what it came from as well as the original ratio. The gear stamp on the ring gear is a good clue but a lot can happen in 50+ years.
