Window position problem with my Nu-Relics power window conversion. Help!!!
After installing my Nu-Relic power window conversion I'm finding that when closed, the windows now want to come up too high in the door. They are coming up so high that they interfere with the inside belt line felts. Is there any way to limit the closed position? Like some type of mechanical stop? Has anyone else experienced the windows coming up too high? Because of this I'm not able to install inside belt line felts. I'm really struggling with this one, so hopefully someone has some experience with this. Thanks.

Re: Window position problem with my Nu-Relics power window conversion. Help!!!
Mine installed in the 72 the glass retainer (track) does sit a but proud inside. It does not really interfere with outer seal or inner felt in a way that interferes with operation or outer seal.
My thoughts to fix. Remove regulator and window. Reset window with a small spacer in the track. Lot of work and window is less secured to track. A quick easy fix- cram a piece of 3/16 or 1/4" rope in at top of window channel. Maybe secure to backside of window channel if it does not push channel out to far. Other would be to cut strips of abs to go in behind window channel at top. Enough to stop travel and still allow channel to seat.

Re: Window position problem with my Nu-Relics power window conversion. Help!!!
I have this issue with my blazer. Problem I have is there is no door frame to stop them. I have no idea how to fix it.

Re: Window position problem with my Nu-Relics power window conversion. Help!!!
Well I tried doing a combination of fixes based on Richard's suggestions. I had a couple of rolls of thin rubber that has a 3M backing. The rubber is about 3/16" thick. It was just wide enough to fit inside the channel, so I put a piece inside the channel at the top so the window will contact it when rolled up. I also put a strip on top of the channel, between the window frame and channel. It pushes the channel down a bit, but probably won't be noticed by anyone. After installing the inside door beltline felt, the window still makes contact with the beltline, when it's rolled up, but not as bad. I think I'll keep this in place and see how it holds up over time.
