Universal heaters
I am building a 30 Model A for my dad, and it needs a heater so it can be driven in the freezing winters southern california is known for.
Any experience with these models. Or do any of you guys have a go to model??? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mar-hc-400012 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/flx-117306 I preferential to the Maradyne for looks, and Flexilites for the diemensions. |

Re: Universal heaters
None of those. I have used Red Dot and Heater Craft marine heaters in Jeeps.

Re: Universal heaters
Man, I know they look cheesy but as long as you have the electrical supply capacity maybe something like this would work? I wouldn't want it in North Dakota and there would be some fab to do to get it to work but...

Re: Universal heaters
-
I just got a 1930 Model A Pickup and have been reading about the exhaust manifold heaters. Quite a few testimonials about them working good. They have one that just sits on top of the exhaust manifold. No installation except for the small hole in the firewall to transfer the heat. Sounds like the way to go to me....

Re: Universal heaters
I would go over to Speedway Motors and see what they have and the good or bad reviews.
