C1, Grey plug....

Pin A6, This will be the new Ignition source for the transmission.
Pin A9, Hook an Ignition hot here (This powers all Ignition hots on the engine.)
Pin C9, Hook it to Pin A6.
Pin C12, TCC brake wire (goes to a Dual Brake Switch) to cancel lock-up.

Re: computer tune and harness mods?

also will this switch work? http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...973104-P_422_R

i guess i'll need 12 volts to it and when i hit the brakes it closes and sends power to the Pin C12 of the c-1 connector right?

The Grey C1 connector will need to come/Cut from the donor truck along with the Fusebox, All the wires will be cut off, Splice/Loop C9 to A6 together. A6 is the Ignition Output off the TBC IGN 1 fuse that used to power the BCM.....C9 is the Ignition Input to the transmission that used to go to the I/P fusebox inside the truck. Effectively your making the TBC IGN 1 fuse the new TRANS PWR fuse.

Pin H will go to pin 2 of the OBD port (Class 2 Serial Data)

Pin 4 & 5 will need to be grounded.

Pin 16 will need a Battery Hot.

Re: computer tune and harness mods?

Daaaanz67, Is that the SA-1000 Engine Management Fuse Block? Could you post a picture with the doors open? All of the ones on their website are too small to see any detail.

Thanks, John

Yes, That switch will work. The TCC release side works opposite of the brake light side, With the brakes released...It supplies power to the PCM, When brakes are applied....It cuts power to the PCM.

Re: computer tune and harness mods?

Cline - don't waste you're time on my setup. I got to thinking that my old harness probably won't work because I converted my motor from a L99 to a LS3 (deleted VVT and AFM). I do appreciate your offer,

Cline, thanks for the great info. That looks incredibly easy to wire (far easier then my current TPI setup).
