welding in the No Limit Engineering raised rail kit.
I installed a 1" I.D> tube inside the frame rail welded in place. I will be running the back half electrical inside this. Had to install it before I boxed the frame. That done I spent the day boxing in the frame with 3/16 steel plate I cut out with the Plasma cutter. Not only will this look fantastic when done, it triples the strength of the back half. With over 575 HP in this truck. It will be important to not let it twist this frame like a pretzel. |

The wide ride front end from No Limit should arrive today.
Also waiting on the 4 Bar frame brackets should come with it. We can then start finishing off the rear now that it is boxed. |

The front end looks good on there! One question I have is, is the crossmember on the correct way? Just looking at the pictures looks like the lower control arm is behind the upper control arm which would give you a lot of negative caster (opposite of what you would want).
I'm liking the direction this truck is going, it's definitely giving me some ideas for Army Truck stage 2

People often wonder why these builds take so long. To that I can only answer that it is labor intensive.
For example. I was working on my semi x-members that will terminate at the intermediate cross-member. They have to have a 3 1/2" dia hole thru them to accommodate the 3" exhaust system I am building so I needed to put a 4" schedule 80 piece of pipe thru them and do it at a 45 degree angle. With nothing but a shaky hand and my plasma cutter I had to blow holes into the 3/16" steel tube I am using and then weld and grind to finish. These two pieces took the better part of 4 hours to build. Imagine that, two little pieces that look so simple but eat half a day to make. The next person that asks me what is taking so long,...I am gonna twists their nipple off. |

Quality work takes time even with the parts already made to spec. Quality Custom One Off parts just takes more time and patience. Time costs money...
Great work on those parts. There is a shop in the DFW area that has a laser that can cut tubing. Not sure what they charge, but that part could be knocked out in about 1/3 the time start to finish even if you had to do the CAD work and programing the machine to cut the holes in the rectangular tubing.

welded the forward 4 bar mounts to the frame today, also finished the cross member and added a couple gussets I made to the top of the hoop.
Tomorrow I will hang the Moser 9" and get the shock and pan hard mounts sorted and welded on. |

so now we get to flip the frame over.
I need to get the bottom finished so with the help of the rotisserie and my BendPac we got er upside down and bolted back onto the fixture. |
