Re: Cummins Powered Crew Dually
Your truck turned out awesome! Nice job. Those clearance lights look almost like 3rd gen dodge ones.

Very nice job. I am humbled. I gotta say you have great taste in diesel engines.

I drove it on a 150 mile trip today with much of it being interstate. I looked at my GPS once and I was at 82 mph. It drives pretty good to have 19.5" 14 ply tires. I have to figure out what air pressure to run in them. I have 90psi in the front and 70 in the rear. I will be towing my rock crawler this weekend on a longer trip so I might add more air in the rear. Thanks, PK |

Re: Cummins Powered Crew Dually
Have you broken your first gen engine mounts yet? I have broken 3 lately not even trying. I guess poly's are the way to go anymore.

Re: Cummins Powered Crew Dually
I think mine have broke due to lugging the engine pulling stuck objects out lately. But IDK, I do know it stinks replacing them repetitively.

Re: Cummins Powered Crew Dually
Did you box the entire frame or just the middle section, and did things line up well using the spare frame rails? I've thought some about how to box a frame, and cutting up a bunch of plate steel seems like a lot of work. Your way, to me seems to be a much better way to do it, hope you don't mind me pickin' your brain
