Nice job on the rendering! I might be interested in you doing some for the shop if you would like?

Looking good on the frame fixture.

It's hard to tell in the pics, but did you weld up the bottom plates of the notches already? Or did you just leave them tacked for now... so you can actually install them?

I figured I needed it. I am boxing the complete frame. So I don't want it to warp.

Eric even if your wife goes into labour, I'm sure you will find a way to be there to get the roof cut off it!!!!

Can't wait to see more.the photo chop looks cool. Hope your wife can hold out for at least the weekend.

Did the notches come with the bottom caps welded up? How do they get installed? Do you have to cut them apart to install them?

Here is the frame table completed with the frame on the table. Table may be a foot to high. I will worry about it later. I want to get to work on the truck.

Re: I dont no what I am building haha

So are you using the frame that is shown in earlier posts? With the Scotts suspension? or are you going to use the one in the photo on top of the frame jig? Are they the same one? It looks like a different one. If your not using the one with the Scotts Suspension, what are you planning on doing?

Your projects are really cool. I enjoy watching your builds. Keep up the good work and good luck with the baby!

When my wife and I had our kids the first one was natural, I dont like that too much. Not much you can do while they are in horrible pain, and the second she had an Epidural, that my friend is the only way to fly! Not hardly any pain. Good luck and congratulations! This is a great time in your life. Enjoy.

I will be using all the suspension from the other frame under the burb frame. The frame on the table is from the 65 suburban. Just need to clean it up and start working. Thanks for the kind words for my wife. We are pumped. Our family will be growing in the next month or so.

Just wear your Platform Go-Go Boots when you're working on the truck... that will solve the height problem.

I need to set this straight. Just got a call from Justin at Scotts. He set up the notch so when I cut the frame the notch will be flush mounted on the front back and sides of the frame. It is not the standard slip the notch over the frame. He built it this way based on a conversation we had because he new I was boxing the frame. So just wanted to let you guys no it was a misunderstanding between he and I.

I got one of the notches in last night and most of the cross members out. I said it before taking out the cross members sucks.
