I have decided to paint my own... after finishing up the job I had paid a friend do on my motorcycle I realized I can do this myself. The $$$$ I was going to pay him to paint my suburban and my 81" C10 I'm using it to build a 17x20 building in my back yard. I figured I'd use the cheap finishline stuff on the burbun and if it takes a few times I'm still coming out ahead, by the time I'm ready to do the 81" I'll be ready for the PPG

I used to be a 1st class Industrial painter back in the 90's.. it wont take me long to get the feel of a gun back

The 502 is awesome it has lots of power, you'll love it.

i did all the body work and painting in my garage. i did the caddy lights mainly for the challenge. now i'm ready to step it up and build my 69 form the frame up. this was my first paint job.

Thanks. I painted it the factory Red that looks very orange in some lights. Yes this is a very cool thread as I love to see what people do on their own.

candied flake bottom half with candy flames


it goes crazy in the light...people really trip on this van. Its been across the country a number of times hawking Intro Wheels at many Goodguys shows.
As you can tell, i like flake jobs...
