Wanted- 2 barrel carb...seriously...don't laugh at me!

I'm looking for a cheap 2 barrel Rochester carb. Surely some of you 307 guys have your old one laying around.

I'm looking for cheap, needing a rebuild is fine, just not water damaged or rusted up or burned or anything like that.

DFW area would be awesome, or at least cheap shipping....

Let Me Know, and please don't ask why I want it.

Kevin

How much you paying?
I got one that came off of a 70 chevelle 350 250hp.
Have the intake to go with it too.
It was rebuilt about 2 years ago, then the block cracked due to overheating (idiot PO didn't have any of the idiot lights hooked up).
It's been sitting in a box ever since.
It's in great shape.
Let me know.

Let me know how much the carb is worth to you. I have my intake already, so I don't need yours.

Seems like you're in NRH if I remember right. I work in Hurst, so no shipping would be needed.

I have no idea what it is worth. (To me it isn't worth crap, but this IS a business transaction).
I would say $50.
Then you make an offer. And we barter. Unless $50 is ok. I don't even know how much new ones cost. And I hope I don't sound like an a$$ putting a high amount on a piece of $hit (though it's not... a piece of $hit)

I guess I'm looking for a junkier one. I'm in the 20 dollar range I'd guess. I'm wanting to get into it cheap and don't mind rebuilding it if I needed.

$25 and you come to my place to pick it up so that I don't spend any on gas. Sound fair?

carb

If the above doesn't work out, I have one with the stock air cleaner for $30 shipped. I also have the air pump (smog) exhaust manifolds with good lines for $60 shipped in case you're going all original.......ZZ

I get that a lot. It's hard to see in the pic, but the black of the D ends and the blood carries down further. Also, it was hard getting my arm angled correctly for that pic. Hard to twist it just right and take the pic yourself if you know what I mean.
