WTB: 5 Speed Trans
I need a decent, low mile 5 speed Getrag trans for a 1991 Chev 1/2 ton w/4.3 liter. Just went over 325K miles on original and it's on it's last legs. Would prefer something close to southern OK or north TX to personally come and pickup. Please contact me at carneyjw@centcom.mil Thanks. Jim

That makes two of us.
Looking for an 88-91, Getrag/NV3500 tranny. 4wd version. Not sure if I need the 27- or the 32- spline version. Will be mating to an 83 305 and 89 NP241. Bellhousing, master & slave cylinders would be helpful too. I am in Central VA (Richmond area) so pick - up within a reasonable distance is preferred! Thanks! -cmc- |

Phantom, C1500 will have an NV3500
The C2500 and 3500 trucks have the NV4500

Re: WTB: 5 Speed Trans
I am not 100% sure, but I do believe they went to the internal slave in 97 or something like that. Just for a general rule of thumb, we'll say that anything from 95 down uses a clutch fork with a hydraulic slave cylinder to actuate it.
