Re: finally pics of new motor & front end
Those pullies are from a TPI car, and some late 80s / early 90s V8 TBI sedans. I've got the same on my truck, and they simply rock!

Re: finally pics of new motor & front end
The pulleys are from a 1990 suburban I bought for parts. I swaped all the acessorys from that burban to the truck. this made the swaping a v-6 to a v-8 really easy. Here are some before and after pics for you fellers.

Re: finally pics of new motor & front end
Honestly, I like the original front end better...alot. To me, the 88-91 front end on these trucks just doesn't look all that good. Just a personal preference, nothing against your ride. Regardless, the truck sure looks clean...I definately wouldn't kick it out of my drive way.

Re: finally pics of new motor & front end
Hey Rick,
Thanks on the complement on my truck. and thanks to you it is in there. thnaks again on the mounts, they worked perfect. By the way I was wondering why you left the 350 in your 89/85 project. You seemed gungo-ho to do the v-6 swap. later Jamie |

Re: finally pics of new motor & front end
Nice work. I like the 91 grills on lowered trucks. The look makes them look wider and meaner. I get cars that move out of the way when they see me in their rear view mirror.

Re: finally pics of new motor & front end
Since you asked, I'll be honest. I liked it better with the 86 front end....

Re: finally pics of new motor & front end
Thanks for all of your opinions. I do appreciate all of them. As boatpuller said if everyone of us liked the same thing there would not be a reason for this wonderfull website. My plans for the truck on going are to get the body work it needs done and paint,(the pic's are very forgiving on the paint). One of the reasons for the fontend swap was that the one that was on it was put on by the po after he center punched a tree on his farm. He done a decent job but the hood had a bunch of hail dents and it had a hole for the emblem. Second reason was that I personaly have loved the 89-91 front ends since they came out. thanks again for the interest.
