Re: Looks like I've added another to the stable

I'll get some more pics up later.
A few tidbits:
2003
1 owner
17,000 miles
6.0 AWD
1 of 2800 Victory Red Silverado SS's in 2003

Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked.

Nice!, Now just do something about the exhaust, the LT1 Camaro tips Do Not do that truck justice. A simple stock exit side swept exhaust with a nice tip would be much nicer.

BTW I thought all the Intimidator SS's were 2wd and came out a year or two after the original AWD SS's?

Edit: Yep, they weren't built till 2006, all were 2wd, and there were 1,333 made, and that is the incorrect "Intimidator" emblem.

Either way, sweet truck, post up some more pictures of it!

Yup, the exhaust is going to be history. And good eye on the Intimidator. Those stickers are going the way of the dodo as well. Along with the bug deflector, grill inserts and rain guards on the windows. I think these trucks look damn near perfect from the factory. Might drop it a bit, who knows. Might not do much of anything to it. It was owned by an older gentleman, and spent most of it's life in the garage.

'03 and only 17,000 miles. Man it's still new. Yeah, you'll drop it only a couple of inches but it will look right then.

Sweet truck. I agree about leaving it stock looking....these trucks [99-06] are better looking left alone to me. I'd leave the bug deflector though.

I wasn't really looking to buy, just had an eye out there if you know what I mean. Plus, the boss lady has been on me to find something a little more practical than my 72 for daily duties. When I found one with this amount of miles, I had to pull the trigger. The only problem is, I'm not going to want to put any miles on it myself.

Thanks! I see you have yourself an SS as well. I was kinda looking at the Trailblazer SS too, but I really have no need for an SUV.

I'll trade you for A Blazer, just not this one. J/K

I'd be looking for a couch to sleep on also, Or, I could crash in the truck bed.

New exhaust on the way! GM Performance Parts is selling their stainless system for cheap as hell ($220), and it's made by Borla!

Yeah, I think I'm just going to drop it 2'' all around and keep the rims silver. I'm pretty sure I'd get sick of the black. I'm not planning on doing anything too crazy, this will be my DD until I get my Dropmember in my 72.

That is a nice truck, but you won't need that in Colorado. You should let me have it.

Ha! And I don't even live in Colorado yet, I'm just so damn exited about moving there later this year.

Knowing that I am moving there, I was planning on getting something that I could take on the trails and whatnot, but this truck came along and stole my heart

Black Rims? I think powder coated Gun Metal Grey would look killer.
Looks like the old guy took good care of it. I'm jealous
