Fuel Gauge
Ok guys, all of you that are doing an AD to a S-10 frame swap, what are you doing about a fuel gauge. What I mean is how do you get the 90 ohm sending to work with the 30 ohm fuel gauge.I can't find any original type gauges for 90 ohms.

Re: Fuel Gauge
It's my understanding that you will have to modify the sending unit. This company says they can do it, but I know nothing about them. http://www.classicinstruments.com/in...lgaugesandtank

Re: Fuel Gauge
I reused my sender unit. I just relocated to the new tank and installed fresh wires. I had to bend the float pickup a little.

Re: Fuel Gauge
You can fix the problem from the other end too. The outfits that repair dash gauges can replace or rewind the stock coils so the gauge will work with a 90 ohm sender.
