V6 TO V8 CONVERSION
I have a 4.3 V6 in my truck and it is sick, the factory carb is sick and they want $475.00 for a new one. I can buy a 350 V8 for that price. Now here is the question. Has anyone done this and did you run into any problems? I think all I need to change is the motor mounts, exhaust and raditor?
Any advise would be helpful !!!! ------------------ 68 GMC short fleetside/406 sb./400turbo w/shift kitand 2500 stall/3:73 posi./ps/pdb/ac/front sway bar/15x8 rallys/"PORSCHE RED" w/ black tuck-n-rolled interior.

Actually engine mounts should be the identical clam shell style, just possibly may need to be relocated to a different ste of holes, which will already be drilled in the crossmember and frame rails.
