They listened lets use it!
I asked for an LS swap forum because the information was all over and there is lots of good information on this site.
I hope it helps a lot of people thinking of putting an LS in something. Thanks

Re: They listened lets use it!
A very timely topic. I have encouraged such swaps on the '88-98 forum and have thrown in the link to Street and Performance (www.hotrodlane.cc). They have put LS engines in many vehicles and even have some LS9 swap info, plus LS engines for sale....if you want prices to compare.

Re: They listened lets use it!
Sweet! I am glad we have this now. It will make it easier on everyone. A little too late for me though... I finished mine in early June. Not a show stopping job, but I stayed under budget. I figured I would be the first to post pics of my swap.

Re: They listened lets use it!
thanks, and no, I didn't take the time to do that. I didn't really do anything that I hadn't already seen in other build threads anyway. I do have more pics, but they are on my home computer. I am on the road for work now.

Re: They listened lets use it!
I just found this forum and have read a bunch of the threads on here. I am in the process of putting a 5.3 into an 87 4x4 Longbed truck. I read all the swaps thinking it wouldn't be too bad, but it doesn't look like many people have done 4x4's!
I am new to the truck scene, but I am pretty well versed in LS engines. I drag race and daily drive my 2006 GTO. I am building the truck to daily drive and tow the car around. It was much cheaper then buying a new truck, plus it gave me a little project to have some fun with. Looking forward to being a part of the forum, thanks for all the info I have goten so far!
