another cluster question

My vac / tach gauge cluster has a tandom lock idiot light on the fuel gauge side. Please forgive a rookie question, but whats that for?

That would be out of a c-40 to c-60... same as the vac gauge.

Your cluster came out of a medium duty truck.. C40/C50/C60 or at least the fuel gauge did.
That light was to indicate the tandem axle was locked in.

Ok, So its a waist to have it in my truck, At most I need a tach cluster.But could do with just the amp/oil setup
I am thinking I should sell this one and buy a gauge cluster that makes sence.
what should I ask for this one?

that one should bring around $250 or so as is.. but all you need is to change the speedometer and add a tach lense and your good to go..

Did you mean to say to change the FUEL gauge not speedo?

I too was wondering on swapping tandem/overspeed lens for the brake/temp unit, is the circuit set up to work with either?
