Camaro 10 Bolt

I have a 79 Camaro 10 bolt rear end that I am putting in my 54. My original rear forward frame spring perches are wollowed out into oblong holes. Can I use the Camaro springs, which are a few inches longer. My concerns are that the springs will be too stiff or too weak. I value your opinions.

Re: Camaro 10 Bolt

i'm interested as well. I'm going to a salvage yard tomorrow morning to pick up my Camaro 10" posi. I'm putting it on a 49 C3100. I can't decide if I should go with a 4 link or leafs. I'm leaning more toward leafs. Any suggestions?
