Re: Anyone running rim adapters?

I know it's doable -- I've seen a 454ss on Corvette wheels before, which is the same 5x4.75 bolt pattern as an S10.

How far they stick out? That's what I'm worried about

Re: Anyone running rim adapters?

Corvette wheels look good...but I'm not sure if there are backspacing differences between vette and S10.

Re: Anyone running rim adapters?

I have done this before. I took a set of 20" Boss wheels from my 4-door Blazer and put them on my 98 X-cab. I used 1" adapters. If I was to do it again I would use 1-1/4" adapters. In oder to run the 1" adapters I had to trim the stud length. Something I did not want to do, but I already had the adapters. Unfortunately I no longer have the 98 so I can't help you with offset/backspacing questions.
