plenty of post about it. as in everyday not trying to bust your balls just saying. they set up to high for my tastes. i prefer ford super duty seats. fords have a raised floor unlike chevies flat floor.

Re: 99-06 seats in 84 crew cab....
I just finished this swap myself (in a regular cab). This weekend I will be able to snag some pictures. But, I'll try to explain what I did in a nut shell.
First and foremost, I stripped the new seats down by removing the factory sliding mechanism. This allowed me to reach the lowest mounting point for the new seats. Next I took my old seat off of the factory brackets and left the brackets bolted in the original location in order to start fabricating. I put two pieces of square tube (notched out around the factory brackets to help sit the frame down as low as possible) across the brackets for something to bolt the seats to that had some strength. I believe these peices started out about 58 3/4" and were later trimmed down. From there we put the seats in and out of the truck about 50 times, playing with where we wanted them. They ended up about an inch in from the bottom of the factory seat belt, which allowed for the 14 inches we needed for the center console to fit with minimal space to lose change or a phone or what have you. All in all, the seats turned out 2 inches higher than the stock seat. I'm 6'2" and I am still able to adjust the tilt column to sit down some. Don't get me wrong, you notice being the 2 inches higher, and while it is not EXACTLY how I would have liked them... I am very happy with how it turned out. The seats look great and in my opinion greatly improve the comfort of driving my truck. Anyways, when I'm able to get pics up, I will... but my advice to you is to go through every possible avenue to make the seats sit as low as you can possibly make them. You'll be much happier in the end. Hope this was helpful.

http://www.precisionfit.com/images/0...49d012d6091c50 f150 seats first is an 04 second is 02 i think in 01 they went to the integrated belts none of the trucks (ford chevy or dodge)have belts in the back integrated so you need the oem belts there. the ford seat is a better fit with the older trucks with its raised floor and the seats being 3 inches wider. Re: 99-06 seats in 84 crew cab....
The 99-07 super duty crew cab seats look like they would be close to bolt in for a square Chevy crew cab. The floors are very similar. I've been looking for some for some time with no luck.
No built in belts though....
