Correct carb for 72 402BB?

Tried searching for the part numbers here, but didn't come up with much. I have a 72 402 BB out of a c-20, that was said to be an automatic. From the little info I found, most carbs for an automatic (I know the BB comes with a TH400 with electric kick down, but from what i've seen, the carbs still have the arm or the cable) have the extra bracket on the linkage for the kick down cable, but mine does not have that.
The carb number is 7042206 QA with 1172 under it.
I was told it worked good, so i didn't plan to rebuild it..though second guessing that choice now. Whoever rebuilt it last did not put the choke assembly back together correctly, so the choke could only open half way

Re: Correct carb for 72 402BB?

Cool, thanks for that link.
Yes, I got the choke working correctly. Not sure what the part is called that was in wrong, but it sorta looks like a weight and triggers the secondary lock when the choke is on? It was on the wrong side (under) the trigger mechanism, and the part would hit the vacuum port that sticks out allowing the choke to only open half way. I moved the part to the top and it all works as it should now

A correct bb carb will not have the kick down arm on it because of the electric kick down. The carb shaft will be like a manual truck.

A quick search of the for sale section here shows several big block carbs with the same number that mine has, that have the kick down arm on them in the pictures.
That being said, a closer inspection of mine shows that the kick down arm was cut off at some point for whatever reason.
I need to fab something up for an arm, I'm running a 200-4R, so I need the detent cable to work correctly
