helping out with locating parts

What parts are particulary hard to find for our model trucks/suvs that I could grab at my local pick-n-pull, while I'm there, that would help you guys out. Not looking to make anything off of them, just pass them on to you guys. You'd have to cover the cost and shipping, but I'll be there a lot and wouldn't mind helping some of you out. Hopefully someone can return the favor one day.

Re: helping out with locating parts

I'll see what they have. I'm going next week... maybe this weekend if I get time. I need a few things that is going to take a while to get off the old trucks there (suburban bumpers, set of a-arms). There were a lot of seat belts and stuff in there. I believe there was a tan set in that burb.

Original dash pads that are not cracked up are hard to find. If you find one, I would be more than happy to pay ya and shipping. I need a charcoal grey dash pad, but I will take what I can get.

The 6.5" and 8" rallys are still pretty plentiful around here. Its the 7" wheels that are hard to find.

X2
I need one for a 78 model. Don't care about color just no cracks. I need the clips too because my dash pad is gone altogether.

Re: helping out with locating parts

U cracked dash pads in the junkyard is like looking for a virgin in a strip club. I checked. All the interiors are junk.

I think there was an early 80s manual shift there. I'll make a list of all your requests and take it with me.

Re: helping out with locating parts

seat sliders bring pretty good money online. I've been nosing around looking for some locally.

Putting a 96 60/40 seat in my 83. I kept my original sliders on my original bench in case I ever want to put it back in. Already got the 60 portion in the truck, but want some sliders to try to get the 40 part in on the passenger side.
