Transmission swap
Will a 3 speed manual transmission from a 1981 C10 match up to a 1967 C10 bell housing ?

I'd say yes, as will just about any GM manual trans, including Muncie and B-W 4-speeds.
With this bump to the top, maybe someone else will chime in.

You might need a bearing retainer adapter to mate your new tranny to the old bellhousing.
The hole the bearing retainer registers in is larger on the older bellhousing. You might need one of these. http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...6078/overview/ |
