Do what I did. call the glass guy. He came out a couple weeks ago and installed my front and rear glass in my 68 for $200. I was at work and when I got home it was done.

You could look on Youtube. there are many videos on the subject if you want to try it yourself. I did it twice before. 50% success.

Re: 72 Windshield HELP

This is on my to do list eventually also. So, I personally have not done it, but in researching it seems to vary from "take your time, patience, and it's pretty straightforward" to "this %*#@ sucks, how does this go in!?". Here are a couple of links that may help, hope to hear how it went!

Thumbs up Re: 72 Windshield HELP

I put mine in with help from my daughter and son.

Put rope inside gasket from bottom to top with both ends of the rope in the top center to pull the gasket in and have some one putting pressure on it while you pull the rope ends a little each way and keep them even.
Get it started good and it will go right in. Having some plastic knives will help and a set of picks. Once it's in you can work the top corners into position. Use plenty of soap and water in a spray bottle also. Spray it down good before you start.
Also wash the gasket good before doing anything and let dry in the sun.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
