Great way to create driveshaft issues. Is that the rear driveshaft leaning on the tire?

I promise you that the Craigslist ad says, "Too many projects so I have to let this one go. Just needs you to finish bolting up the driveshafts and swap a set of tires on to the front. NO LOWBALLERS."

Re: "So, you say you're stuck pretty bad? No problem"
It's cooler than most monster trucks I've seen. Could be the proprietary get unstuck vehicle for a mud bog park. I'm not into monster trucks, but I always wanted to build a badass off road recovery vehicle. Not stupid big like that one, but something that could go where the Jeeps go and get back out, with a dead Jeep in tow...if not repairable on site

I agree an off-road recovery vehicle would be cool. Was actually watching YouTube and came across BSF Recovery team (?pretty close I think) who ran a cool squarebody 4x4 dual rear wheel wrecker that was surprisingly capable and often did exactly what you mention. Go into the woods wheeling, come out towing a jeep or other wheeler. I'd be happy with a normal 2wd street 67-72 wrecker though. Keep eyeing a 65 near me, wondering if the old man will ever let er go. Last edited by Overdriven; 01-30-2017 at 11:39 AM. |
