Low Hump Removal Help
Adding my High Hump tunnel and firewall piece here in the next few days and started looking at removing the low hump. What is the best way to remove one that isn't bolted down? I know cutting out is the answer but where to begin?
Pictures would be great. Thanks |

Re: Low Hump Removal Help
Clean flange, look for spot welds, drill out spot welds

Re: Low Hump Removal Help
Spot welds depend on year, with my 65 the low hump is part of the entire floor. I would cut an 1” short and measure 3x, cut once.

Yes - no spot welds on mine either. I just cut short and will cut further once everything is in place. thanks

Re: Low Hump Removal Help
Looks like I'll be doing a lot of cutting in my 66 then. Picking up a high hump cab for the swap this weekend.
