Reassembling steering column

I recently pulled apart a 68-70 no tilt steering column to repaint it and I can’t get it to go back together. Does anyone have a link to a page that shows in detail and with photos on how to reassemble it? I can’t get the mounting for the turn signal switch to sit right. Thanks.

Re: Reassembling steering column

The potmetal piece under the switch has grooves in the bottom. These must match up to the mast jacket & fit with it. Then turn the hub till the holes line up & install the switch.
