This Aussiespeed manifold just arrived…

Four barrel intake for the 292 - could be an interesting project.

Could be interesting all right!
You gonna use a mono jet or a 1250 dominator?

Looks like an adaptor too, then.
Sideways mount or front/back?

If he uses the 1250 dominator. He has the perfect cast bosses for a fogger nos system

Not sure yet.

Anyone know if there are linkages available for this type of setup?

If my truck had a 292, I probably would have gone sideways quadrajet. If you use a carb for late 70s 305 (has electric choke and uses a throttle cable), you can mount sideways, use a 71-72 gas pedal, and have a throttle cable that takes the pain out of setting up a linkage system.

I went with that carb on my 283 and it has worked great. I used a 73-87 gas pedal which didn't turn out as great as I was hoping. One day I'll change it to a 71-72 pedal

Another side note is Ford incorporated a return spring in some of their throttle cables. It sure makes for a neat & clean installation if you go the cable route rather than linkage.

this is for a 71-72 Mustang

I used a 6 cylinder cable on my friends 72 Corvette when he added dual quads. Nice & Clean look that worked flawlessly.
