Need pictures of factory Dual Horns installed

As I continue to add early 70's accessories to my truck ... I have an early 70's NOS Sears Cruise Control that I will be installing ... and I also want to add dual horns.

I have a set of restored dual horns that I want to install.
It came with dual horns initially but sometime long ago they were removed …
Pics of their installed location would be helpful Thanks

My '70 C10 originally came with only one horn but the original core support was already drilled in the spot for the extra horn. If i remember correctly it also has a little hole to receive a small metal protrusion on the factory horn bracket which prevents the bracket from accidentally rotating once mounted. Also, the built in washer on the factory horn bolt is serrated so that it creates a ground so the horn will work.

I never, ever understood this oddball option/feature though I've had it on all three of my trucks. why wouldn't a manufacture simply design ONE horn that puts out the tone and level they want. this arrangement is nothing special, by any means.

But it was a factory option on my truck which is the reason I want to reinstall.

Put one horn on, and con people into thinking it doesn't sound right and sell them another horn (or three!) for a price mark-up! It's all about the money. You DO realize that money is why anything is manufactured, right?

That is interesting. I see the holes on Tim71's radiator core support that would be used for the horn mounted in the position that FirstOwner69 shows.

Yep, I used a factory horn with it's original bracket and I didn't have to drill any holes.

Was curious about the "dual horn" and "hi/lo" horn references. I thought this was interesting from another post on the forum, FWIW:

"...The horns themselves are identical to those used in most 60s Chevys EXCEPT for the mounting brackets which are unique to these trucks. I don't believe the high note horns were available until 1970. My 69 core support doesn't even have a weld-on nut for the high horn below the left headlight. Also, I've found only one high horn in the junkyards that worked. Most lows have worked. Here's a couple pictures of the horns. The high is on the left. Note that the high has an "H" on it. The low does NOT have a "L".

"...I just checked the 2 from this 72 I'm parting out. The high had a big H in a circle and the low just has a small L in the middle, no circle."

When I restored my '69, I replaced the original core support with one from a '71 or '72. I couldn't pass it up when I saw it on Craig's List in perfect condition blasted and primed for $50. I figured I couldn't restore mine for that even though all it needed was paint. My pic above shows the high horn in the correct factory hole with a weld nut on the on the front side.

As halfstep mentioned. I found lots of working low horns but only one or two working highs. I figured that may be due to the horizontal angle of the high horn compared to the low horn pointing down-word allowing the horn to be more likely to "capture" water and rust the diaphragm.
