62 C10 3 Point Belts
Seen a lot of posts on here regarding 3 point seatbelts. Nothing too recent though.
As I look around, I keep coming back to Seatbeltplanet. Checks alot of what Im looking for off in my list while looking. Just curious if anyone has recently bought from them and installed their 3 point belts in a 60-63. If so, how are they? Recommended? Thanks!!! |

Are there anchor points for the shoulder belts?

Re: 62 C10 3 Point Belts
No. Shoulders apparently didn't exist in '62.
I drilled a bolt hole, then three holes around it for plug welding, then stuck an arm up inside to attach a WIDE thick washer with a nut welded to it for a shoulder bolt. DOT requires 7/16"UNF or 1/2"UNC for seat belt bolts. I chose UNF. THIS was my video on doing seats and seat belts (5 min. mark). Still is my video, I guess. . . .

Re: 62 C10 3 Point Belts
I got mine online from Juliano's Interior Products. They included the hardware and a custom made plate for securing them to the vehicle.

Re: 62 C10 3 Point Belts
I used seatbeltplanet for mine. Had a plastic cover piece break on me and they sent me a new piece at no charge. Would use them again

Re: 62 C10 3 Point Belts
The previous owner of my truck welded nuts to the inside sheet mettle. I didn't trust it so I got a set from Juliano's and used the custom bracket.
