Big Block Oil Pan

I am working on a 1968 Chevy truck that came factory with a 396. The 396 is coming out for a rebuild and another big block will be going in to keep the truck going in the meantime. The current oil pan that came factory on the truck looks like a car pan, similar to what you would find in a Chevelle, Camaro or Caprice. I have an extra oil pan from a 454 out of a late 70's Chevy pickup but it has a bigger sump. Does anyone know if this style of oil pan will fit in a 68? I was afraid that there might be some interference with the crossmember. I attached pictures of each style of oil pan. Thanks
