help ID intake ports chevy 250

Hello,
1966 c10 250 non integrated head.
I've been looking online and in the forums for some information on what these two ports do on on the intake. I believe one is for a coolant line that helps warm up the intake. the other I'm unsure. Some pictures online show 1, some 2 and some neither.

I live in the desert so not sure i need the first one. Can both of these be capped and what is their exact usage.

In the pic its the two in the lower left hand corner. One is capped now and the other has an odd flare fitting that is open.

thanks

Kris
