Re: Front rally wheel clearence issue, need help..
The wheels in the pic from the Craigslist ad look like 15x7's on the left and 15x6.5's on the right.
I would try to find a set of 15x8's for the rear. 15x6.5 (4" BS) 15x7 (3-5/8" BS) 15x8 (4" BS) What is the backspace of your wheels?

Re: Front rally wheel clearence issue, need help..
Have you done any trimming on the lower a-arms?
With minor trimming any 4" backspaced 15" wheel will work with 2.5" or 3" drop spindles. I suspect your 88-98 wheels have more than 4" of backspacing.

I was looking at it last night and was almost thinking a small 6-7 mm spacer would be enough. That would still even give me enough hub so the truck wouldnt be "held" up by the wheel studs. |

Re: Front rally wheel clearence issue, need help..
I recall the 88-98 steelies having 4.25"bs but don't have one handy for verification. We installed 73-87 ralleys on my old buddies 91 for this reason. We did 6.5" vans up front & 8" trucks on the rear. Slight clean-up of the lower a-arm & we were good to go.

Re: Front rally wheel clearence issue, need help..
Those are the 'styled' wheels & do not share the same back-spacing as the steelies from what I remember (it's been a few years since I played w/late model 88-98 stuff).
