I didn't brace mine up because my cab is bolted to the frame. I'm not saying this is right or wrong...that's just the way I did it. I've not had any problems so far. It's been a lot of fun actually, seeing it all come back together. My pieces were from LMC and required a little massaging, but nothing major.

Easiest way to do the cab support is to put the cab up on end for best access. Just my opinion though.

As others have said take lots of picture, measurements and your time. It is my first time doing it as well. Tack welded in my driver floor pan this morning. Spent about an hour getting the kick panel massaged enough to line up. The kick panel has been the most out of alignment so far. And I am going to have to redrill the holes where the bottom fender bracket goes as they just don't line up at all. I did not brace my cab but it is still mounted to the frame. I measured both door openings in different spots and they are dead on. Bret
