Re: Wanted: 12 Bolt rearend (for leaf spring truck)

I have several 12 bolts out of blazers may have to move the spring pad width. I would ship through fastenal so someone would need to pick it up at the other end is that doable? If that is possible I can get you some pictures.

Looking for a 12 Bolt rearend for a '67 C10.

Housing must have leaf spring mounts/brackets

Axles/lugs/ratio etc not important. They will be replaced unless it's a perfect combo in great condition.

A bare housing would be ideal.

Seller needs to be willing to have it shipped to my shipping agents in Kelso, Washington. 98626.

I live in Australia so I can't pick it up

I can only pay via PayPal, and I will absolutely need pics.

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,
Russ
I will have one out of my 1971 1/2 ton K10 4X4. In relatively good shape. Please PM me for details. PS. I live in Washington state, so I may be able to deliver for a fee.

Unfortunately, I believe 71's are a different width. I'm not interested in modifying housings (with the exception of relocating leaf mounts). Sorry.

I'm not sure that's possible but I will send them an email and check.

I'm under the impression 72's are a different width. Sorry. I can't use them.

Re: Wanted: 12 Bolt rearend (for leaf spring truck)

I have a leaf spring rear end already pulled, but I am not sure if it is a '69, or '70 it measures 58 1/4 flange to flange. Do you have measurements? I also have a '67 coil spring rear end next to it for reference, were they the same width? The coil spring housing measures 56 3/4 flange to flange. So its probably from an '70.

Re: Wanted: 12 Bolt rearend (for leaf spring truck)

I have one with a flip kit if you are lowering it. 100 for just the bare housing. I also have the rest of this rear-end like the series 4 carrier with 4:10 gears, Kal-tech traction, and new shocks. I wouldn't know where to begin on shipping it.

Re: Wanted: 12 Bolt rearend (for leaf spring truck)

Thanks for the response guys. My diff measures exactly 57" from outside of flange, to outside of flange, or 56.5" from inside of flange to inside of flange.

When measuring from outside of flange: 57" (57inch / 4ft 9inch / 1448mm)

When measuring from inside of flange: 56 1/2" (56.5inch / 4ft 8.5inch / 1433mm)

Russ
The rear end I have is correct but it has some heavy gouges and pitting in the axle tubes on both sides. I tried several times to get some decent pictures but they are not showing up well in the pics. I did attach the best one

Thanks Richard. Unfortunately I will have to pass. That doesn't look a whole lot better than the one I already have. Surface rust is fine, but pitting I need to keep away from.

I appreciate the effort though. Thank you.
