I glued a rubber "foot" to the existing stop, which added about 1/4". That turned out to be another 1.5" at the pedal. But with the shortened pushrod, the brake pedal arm barely hits the rubber bumper. There's also just a tint bit of free play, which is what I wanted. It's a real balancing act. Can't tell you how many times I took things apart, made adjustments, and put thing back together. I feel like I'll need to slightly adjust the switch someday.
